„Austrian Music Box“ is an initiative of Austrian collecting societies AKM, AUME, LSG, the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (FAF, AWO) and the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture in cooperation with OMF and the Austrian Music Council to start a periodic production of promotion CDs representing current Austrian music production.
The Box containing 5 audio CDs is distributed in 2.000 copies at international music fairs and similar events, Austrian Foreign Trade Offices and the likes and is not going to be used for commercial purposes.
