Our Mission
The international presentation of Austrian artists often means a tough time for national music labels. A small home market, a small and/or very special repertoire and the absence of a "critical mass" of releases are only conquerable through cooperation within the Austrian music industry. The aim of the Austrian Music Ambassador Network is to establish an international support for Austrian releases by enabling a strategic partnership between independent and major labels, institutions, promoters and sponsors.
Basically AMAN is open for all Austrian music-labels of all kinds of styles and genres. In matters of the Ambassadors the music market has been divided into three main genres per definition:
• Electronic & World
• Alternative/Rock & Pop
• Jazz
For selected releases AMAN together with the Ambassadors works like a specialized international agency for public relations. Individual plans of action in the context of the available budgets are conceived and implemented.
